Oh, train to the right! same directions as before. small braids not big! and very very tight. Only doing a couple crossovers will make it more comfortable for the horse.

Anonymous:  Grooming question: my horse's mane is almost entirely on the right side except for a few random chunks. Would you recommend training the tidbits over to the right or training the whole entire thing to the left?

mane should be on the right side so DO NOT train to the left. sometimes cowlicks in the mane will make for some stubborn bits… i recommend banding/braiding the mane over using a tacky braid spray :)

2 words- Natural Selection. Horses evolved into what they are today, because of this. Let the humans do it too. 

i’m actually itching to start braiding again…

the feeling when you finish a horse and he/she looks ready to win the class- so worth the time that goes into it.
